For this assignment we had to investigate the Iot , search for an examole, describe what it is and how it works.

 

 

First, what the Internet of Things ?  This is a kind of "Industrial Internet". It is simply the " use of the Internet to connect a wide variety of devices, machines, and sensors. " This IoT will be a big part of the future of Internet. Objects are equipped with sensors that help to connect this objects to the Internet. RFID is the technology that is used for the Iot.

 

In a few words, it is to create digital representations of real-world objects.

 

As example for the IoT, I chose the example of the "WeSC Karmatech".

This concepts was developed by students at the Hyper Island digital school. There is an RFID chip that allows the person who wear the shoes to interact with his surroundings (check in at a location and share it on social media).

It is just a concept but I chose it as example because I think that it is very innovative.

 

I think that the main  problem with this would be the problem of privacy of the consumers.
